Where To Begin

A story about stories.

With what began as an exploration of stories (the stories we were told, the stories we tell each other, and the stories we tell ourselves), soon turned took on a life of its own. Someone looks back on their life as they try to sort out these stories in the hopes of remembering something, and we get insight to these vignettes. The book began to explore the effects of stories, about inherited traits and family histories, about life and mortality, the passing of time, the longing for something that was once or is yet to come. Ghosts flit between the pages, and passages slip through time as the text and illustrations compliment and illuminate the other.

Where To Begin functions as a meditation, it reads like a thought that just slipped your mind, you slip into margin-less waters and swim with everything and nothing at once.
